MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has hailed his side for ending their four-game winless run with a 3-1 victory over Oldham Athletic.
The Dons kept their automatic promotion hopes alive last night as they secured a comfortable triumph at Boundary Park.
Robinson believes that his players have answered their critics thanks to a dominant display.
"It was a very, very good performance and the way we took our goals was excellent," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We have had some criticism, but the players have responded and we didn't just scrape this result.
"The first half was magnificent and we should have scored more. To come here and be so potent in our play was really pleasing. I had one-to-one meetings with the players beforehand because I felt we were over our dip and I wanted to go through key components that we needed to do."
MK Dons continue their promotion bid on Saturday when they host Notts County.
