MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has expressed his delight with his side's 2-1 win against Oldham Athletic this evening.
George Baldock and Izale McLeod gave the Dons a comfortable half-time lead, but Charlie MacDonald halved the advantage in the second half.
However, the away side held on for the win, and Robinson praised his players for their determination and resistance in the face of late Oldham pressure.
"I thought the boys stuck to the challenge and tactically we got it right. I'm absolutely ecstatic," Robinson told MKWeb.co.uk.
"All our stats would have told you we would have lost here today so I'm over the moon with them."
Dons now sit ninth in the league.
