MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has reportedly turned his attention to Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in a bid to boost his goalscoring options before tonight's deadline.
It has been suggested that Robinson initially made a move for Derby County frontman Darren Bent earlier today.
However, having failed to secure a deal for the former England international, the Dons are now in talks to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Emmanuel-Thomas, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old, who joined the R's from Bristol City in the summer, has scored five goals from his 15 appearances in all competitions this season.
Meanwhile, Robinson's men have found the net just 23 times from their 28 Championship outings.
