MK Dons midfielder Mark Randall believes that he will benefit from playing a full part in pre-season training after agreeing to extend his stay at the League One club.
Randall returned to England near the end of the season after a spell in Italy with Ascoli, and the former Arsenal trainee is delighted to have secured a permanent deal with his hometown club.
The 24-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to have signed a new deal.
"I'm looking forward to getting a full pre-season under my belt, which I didn't have last season, and I think that it's going to be a good year."
Randall made four appearances in April as MK Dons ended the campaign in 10th position.
