Montpellier HSC boss Rolland Courbis has hailed his side's intelligence following their 4-2 victory over Lyon in Ligue 1.
La Paillade were able to clinch three points away from home on Friday night thanks to a standout showing from Rodrigue Ninga, leaving Courbis to praise his side's showing on the road.
"We played an intelligent game. We managed to take advantage of Lyon's difficult spell, of their mental and physical fatigue from the match they played on Tuesday," said Courbis, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"For the first time we have achieved our goal of winning a game away from home.
"We're satisfied, but I'm not sure that we'll beat Gazelec on Wednesday, and I'm waiting to see whether we'll know how to handle this deserved win over OL by recovering well and enjoying it a bit."
Montpellier now hold 13th place in the league standings after 14 games played.
