CF Montreal will look to extend their unbeaten run to five matches when they play host to Inter Miami in the MLS on Saturday.
The hosts currently sit in third position in the Eastern Conference, while Phil Neville's side occupy eighth place ahead of the weekend's action.
Match preview
After failing to reach the playoffs in four of the last five seasons, Montreal are set to reach the post-season this time around.
With 11 games remaining, Montreal are 10 points clear of Saturday's opponents, who are just outside the playoffs, while they are also six points adrift of top spot in the Eastern Conference.
They enter Saturday's contest in the midst of a four-game unbeaten run, which includes three victories, with the lastest win taking place in midweek.
Wilfried Nancy's side made the trip to face Columbus crew where they trailed until late on following Lucas Zelarayan's opener, but an 88th-minute strike from Kei Kamara and a Joel Waterman winner in the fourth-minute of stoppage time ensured that they travelled back to Montreal with all three points.
After beating Columbus Crew 2-1 on Wednesday, Montreal will now attempt to clinch back-to-back victories, and they will be confident of doing so after winning their two previous home meetings with Inter Miami.
The visitors, meanwhile, failed to reach the playoffs last season, but they are in the hunt for a top-seven place this term.
Although sat just outside the playoffs, Inter Miami are level on points with seventh-placed Charlotte, while only one point covers fifth spot down to ninth position.
After being involved in an entertaining 4-4 draw with Cincinnati last weekend - which included a Gonzalo Higuain hat-trick - they required just one goal to beat San Jose Earthquakes in midweek.
A Jean Mota strike in the 12th minute proved enough to help Inter Miami secure their second MLS away win of the season.
The midweek 1-0 victory provides Inter Miami with the chance to clinch consecutive away wins in the MLS for the first time since September 2021.
