A goal from Iuri Medeiros has led Moreirense to a 1-0 win over Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga.
Rio Ave dominated the opening stages of the match and Heldon Ramos nearly broke the deadlock in the 21st minute.
Cassio was called in to action just moments later to stop Moreirense taking the lead when Medeiros's free kick was curled towards goal.
Medeiros did give his team the lead just after the restart though, when he bundled the ball into the net at the back post after Evaldo Fabiano's cross.
The win moves Moreirense up to 14th in the Primeira Liga table, with Rio Ave staying in fifth.
