Michel Der Zakarian has admitted that Nantes were fortunate to emerge from their clash at Montpellier HSC with a point.
Filip Djordjevic had put Les Canaris ahead in the first half, but a stoppage-time leveller from Djamel Bakar earned a 1-1 draw for Montpellier in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
"We got off lightly," manager Der Zakarian conceded to reporters. "We suffered a lot in this game, wasted possession too much and lost too many challenges.
"We lacked mobility and technical precision. We failed to make a considerable impact.
"Montpellier have been going through a rough patch and they were hungrier than we were."
Nantes travel to Bordeaux in their next Ligue 1 game on Sunday.
