Agent Mino Raiola has indicated that Mario Balotelli would be willing to join Napoli during the summer.
Balotelli has enjoyed a productive two years with Nice but after scoring 43 goals in 66 appearances for the French club, the forward will leave on a free transfer this summer.
The Italy international has been linked with a number of clubs in Serie A, but Raiola has suggested that 27-year-old is keen to discuss a switch to Naples.
Raiola told Italian reporters: "You have to ask [Carlo] Ancelotti. What I can say is that apart from [Lorenzo] Insigne, there is no-one as strong as him. Then it will depend on De Laurentiis. He will decide if he wants to reinforce the team or not.
"We have a special relationship with [Aurelio] De Laurentiis. Our vision of things is often different – we have closed a few deals – but this does not mean anything. Napoli is back big just thanks to him and if he wants to see me, I'm available."
On Monday night, Balotelli marked his recall to the Italy squad with a goal in the 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia.
