The agent of Napoli playmaker Ezequiel Lavezzi has dismissed reports claiming that his client has held talks with Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti.
The Argentina international has been linked with a number of clubs throughout the season.
The media have suggested that Lavezzi is the top target for Inter, as they attempt to piece together a side capable of reclaiming the Serie A title. It has been reported that Inter officials met with Lavezzi, but Alejandro Mazzoni has quashed the rumours.
Mazzoni told Radio CRC: "Lavezzi has never told me that he wants to leave Napoli and he has never met with Inter president Massimo Moratti.
"I don't know the Inter president either. I do know (Marco) Branca and (Piero) Ausilio, but I know all sporting directors as I am the agent of Lavezzi and 39 other players.
"I'm frequently in Milan and I can confirm that Ezequiel was in Milan on the weekend that the Lecce-Napoli game was postponed, but he was there for personal reasons."
Lavezzi joined Napoli in 2007 from San Lorenzo.
