Gregory van der Wiel has received a late call-up to the Netherlands squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against the Czech Republic tomorrow night.
Due to the fact that the Paris Saint-Germain right-back was suspended for the 2-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday, he was omitted by head coach Danny Blind.
However, a muscular injury has forced Newcastle United's Daryl Janmaat to withdraw, which has seen Blind turn to 27-year-old Van der Wiel as cover.
The game against the Czechs is a must-win for Blind's men, who need to collect three points and hope that Turkey slip up against Iceland to secure a place in the playoffs.
