Netherlands boss Guus Hiddink is hopeful that his side will have learned a lesson from their defeat to the USA ahead of their vital Euro 2016 qualifier against Latvia next week.
Hiddink's men held a 3-1 lead in the second half thanks to a brace from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and a strike from Memphis Depay at the Amsterdam ArenA.
The USA got back into the game in the 70th minute through John Brooks, while late goals from Danny Williams and Bobby Wood secured victory for Jurgen Klinsmann's men.
Hiddink told SBS: "I think that everybody know how important the Latvia match is. They all do. I am worried about how we finish a game, our fitness is fine. The Americans always fight until the end, some of us are not used to that.
"They made us run, but we had to make them run instead. We are working on that. I hope this is a lesson."
Netherlands are third in Group A with seven points from their opening five games of qualifying.
