Costa Rica defender Roy Miller has been ruled out of their World Cup quarter-final against Netherlands.
The 29-year-old emerged as a doubt after suffering a foot problem while training in Salvador on Tuesday.
Miller has only made one appearance at the tournament so far, in the 0-0 Group D draw with England, but was expected to start versus the Dutch this weekend in place of the suspended Oscar Duarte.
"The injury will keep him off the pitch for several days," the Costa Rica football association told the press about the left-back, who is believed to have injured himself while practising penalties.
Miller plays his club football alongside Thierry Henry at MLS franchise New York Red Bulls.
