Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse could reportedly miss this week's fixtures against Manchester City and Liverpool due to injury.
The 29-year-old was forced out of the Magpies team two hours before kickoff against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, where Newcastle went on to secure a 2-1 victory.
A swollen knee is said to have prevented Cisse from playing on Sunday, but according to the Shields Gazette, when manager Alan Pardew was asked what the prognosis was for Cisse, the coach said: "No, sorry. No idea."
The North-East outfit will face City in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday and then Liverpool at St James' Park on Saturday.
