Newcastle United midfielder Kenedy has avoided retrospective action for his off-the-ball challenge on Cardiff City's Victor Camarasa on Saturday.
The Chelsea loanee appeared to kick out at the Spaniard during the goalless draw in South Wales, but referee Craig Pawson did not produce a card.
However, the referee did award Cardiff a free kick, and as such the incident will not be referred to a disciplinary panel as it was dealt with at the time.
Kenedy had been facing a three-match ban for violent conduct, but the Brazilian will not be handed any further punishment.
The 22-year-old endured a miserable individual display at the Cardiff City Stadium, failing to complete a single pass in the first half and then missing a penalty in the final minute of stoppage time.
Newcastle did end the game with 10 men, though, with Isaac Hayden being shown a straight red card for a challenge from behind on Josh Murphy shortly after the hour mark.
