Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has said that he is pleased with his side's performance against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Hatem Ben Arfa and Yoan Gouffran scored the goals for the Magpies as they got the better of the Villans 2-1 at Villa Park.
"We played very well today and I thought some of our play was what it should be at Newcastle," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"We have a real attacking mode at the club and that's the type of offensive side I want to put out but I have been able to do so really since Demba Ba left."
Newcastle are currently eighth in the league table with seven points from four matches.
