Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has praised his players' discipline and adherence to "the gameplan" as the Magpies saw off West Bromwich Albion 2-0 in this afternoon's Premier League clash at the Hawthorns.
Goals in both halves from Ayoze Perez and Fabricio Coloccini helped the Tyneside outfit their fine form and move to seventh in the Premier League table.
Pardew told reporters after the game: "It was a really professional and disciplined performance. They stuck to the gameplan and the players are carrying it out to the letter.
"You still need moments to inspire and the first goal was really special and worthy of winning any game."
Newcastle's next game is at home to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday November 22.
