Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson has described the last few months as his "most enjoyable" at the club.
The centre-back has played an integral part in the Magpies' climb up the Premier League table this season, with wins against Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United moving them up to seventh place.
Despite joining Newcastle from Portsmouth three years ago, Williamson admits that he is currently the happiest that he has been at St James' Park.
"I've had some good times here, but the last few months have probably been the most enjoyable of all," the 30-year-old told the Northern Echo.
"We've beaten Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United now, and they're all standout victories.
"Personally, it's just fantastic to be getting the minutes under my belt that I am. Whoever we're playing against, it's still a great honour for me to be playing at this level."
Newcastle return to Premier League action on Saturday when they play host to Southampton.
