Newcastle United maintained their recent resurgence with a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns this afternoon.
Ayoze Perez and Fabricio Coloccini both found the back of the net, while Daryl Janmaat provided the assists for both.
The result, which is their fourth win in a row in the league, leaves them seventh in the table heading into the international break.

West Brom
Goal
Ben Foster: The keeper only faced three shots all afternoon but saved just the one for the home side. (2/10)
Defence
Andre Wisdom: Wisdom had been relatively quiet at the back, and started to come forward towards the end of the match, but wasted a few opportunities late on. (4/10)
Joleon Lescott: The centre-back had a solid afternoon at the back, making a number of robust challenges to limit the number of chances that the visitors had at the West Brom goal. (6/10)
Sebastian Pocognoli: The defender looked solid in the first half, but picked up a knock just before the break which prevented him from returning for the second 45 minutes. (5/10)
Craig Dawson: Dawson got forward a few times to try and held get the ball to Berahino, but had little impact in defence. (4/10)
Midfield
James Morrison: The Scottish international had a couple of chances to get the hosts back on level terms in the second half, and a few half-chances late on, but could not find the target. (5/10)
Chris Brunt: Brunt took charge of the corners, but rarely managed to delivery the ball to his teammates, with Tim Krul regularly claiming it straight from the corner. (4/10)
Graham Dorrans: Dorrans had a few decent chances for the Baggies, and stretched Newcastle at the back a few times, but also came under pressure while helping out in defence for West Brom. (5/10)
Youssuf Mulumbu: The winger added plenty of pace and physicality for the home side, but also gave away a few costly fouls and produced some poor finishes. (5/10)
Attack
Victor Anichebe: Anichebe linked up well with Berahino, but was better as provider than finisher, wasting a few opportunities with sloppy shots for Alan Irvine's men. (6/10)
Saido Berahino: The striker had the best chance of the match for the Baggies in the first half, but was denied by a solid Krul save. He was fairly anonymous in the second half though as his teammates failed to provide him with the ball. (6/10)
Substitutes
Cristian Gamboa: Gamboa played the entire second half, replacing the injured Pocognoli, and made a few decent blocks and clearances for the Baggies. (5/10)
Giorgios Samaras: Replacing Dorrans for the last 15 minutes, Samaras helped West Brom finish strongly, but ultimately could not get the hosts back into the match. (5/10)
Stephane Sessegnon: Coming on for Mulumbu just after the second goal, Sessegnon was sent on to try and get the Baggies back into contention, but failed to link up with Berahino and Anichebe. (3/10)

Tim Krul: The keeper almost gave away a goal early in the second half when he mis-judged a high ball into the box, but he did save the only two on-target efforts. (6/10)
Defence
Fabricio Coloccini: The defender made some crucial stops at the back, as well as scoring the second goal after the break before being subbed with 10 minutes still to play. (8/10)
Massadio Haidara: Haidara struggled with the strength of Mulumbu and Anichebe in the first half, but was stronger after the break, helping halt West Brom's hunt for an equaliser. (5/10)
Daryl Janmaat: The Dutchman was superb for the visitors, providing the assists for both goals as well as making some vital contributions in defence. (9/10)
Paul Dummett: The Wales international frustrated Anichebe and Dorrans with his pace at the back, and had a couple of chances up front. (7/10)
Midfield
Moussa Sissoko: The midfielder was involved in some physical battles with Morrison and Mulumbu, but he played strongly to get the better of several midfield battles. (7/10)
Jack Colback: It was a fairly quiet afternoon for the midfielder, who helped out at the back quite a bit, making a few decent blocks. (5/10)
Remy Cabella: Cabella was busy in the first half trying to help set up an opening goal for the visitors, and took on a few shots himself, but he tired in the second half before heading off early. (6/10)
Sammy Ameobi: He rattled the crossbar early on with a well-struck effort from outside the box, but failed to have much of an impact as the match progressed. (5/10)
Mehdi Abeid: The winger frustrated the West Brom defence with some blistering pace, and provided dangerous-looking crosses for the likes of Cabella and Perez. (6/10)
Attack
Ayoze Perez: The striker found the back of the net for a third straight game with a stunning finish just before the break, and continued to look threatening in the second half. (8/10)

Michael Williamson: The defender replaced Coloccini late on, and provided a couple of long balls forward to create a few half-chances. (5/10)
Ryan Taylor: Making his first Premier League appearance in two year, Taylor almost set up Perez for a second late on, but Foster made a save. (7/10)
Yoan Gouffran: Replacing Ameobi for the final 10 minutes or so, the striker did not get a sight of goal before the full-time whistle. (3/10)
