Demba Ba has reportedly committed to Newcastle United until the end of the season amid rumours that the striker could leave the Magpies this month.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp recently revealed that the Senegal frontman has a release clause worth less than £7m, prompting rival clubs to consider a move for the 26-year-old.
It is understood that Ba has informed Alan Pardew that he wants to repay the Newcastle fans for their support, therefore ruling out a move in the winter window, according to The Mirror.
The forward has netted 15 goals for the North East side this season.
