Leon Best has completed his move from Newcastle United to Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
The 25-year-old travelled to Ewood Park for a medical earlier today after the two clubs reached an agreement over a reported £3m fee.
Following discussions with manager Steve Kean, the Republic of Ireland international decided to sign a three-year deal with Rovers.
He has also been handed the number nine shirt, which was once worn by Alan Shearer.
Best has become the club's second signing this summer following the recent arrival of Danny Murphy on a free transfer from Fulham.
