Newcastle United striker Leon Best has reportedly traveled to Blackburn Rovers for a medical ahead of a proposed move.
The 25-year-old has been touted as a potential target for the Lancashire outfit, who were relegated to the Championship at the end of last season.
It is understood that Blackburn have upped their pursuit of the forward, who is currently undergoing a medical at Ewood Park, according to Sky Sports News.
Recent reports have claimed that Blackburn boss Steve Kean is willing to pay up to £3m for the frontman, who has dropped down the pecking order at the Sports Direct Arena.
