Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame is reportedly having a medical ahead of a transfer to Newcastle United.
The 29-year-old is expected to join Rafael Benitez's side at St James' Park for £4.5m after the Magpies triggered a release clause.
It is believed that the Tigers, who are still without a manager following the resignation of Steve Bruce, offered Diame a new three-year deal.
However, it appears as though the Senegal international is set on joining Newcastle as he is undergoing a medical with the newly-demoted Championship club, according to Sky Sports News.
Hull, who signed the midfielder from West Ham United in 2014, earned promotion to the Premier League by winning the playoffs in May.
