Newcastle United goalkeeper Fraser Forster is expected to report for pre-season training with the Magpies after talks over a move to Celtic reportedly broke down.
The 24-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at Parkhead, and it was understood that a £2m fee had been agreed for a permanent transfer.
However, Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has revealed that the stopper will return to the club this summer.
"At the moment he is coming back to us. He will be with us until he finds a club and we find a fee that works for us," he told the Sunderland Echo.
Celtic won the Scottish Premier League title last season.
