Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
The 29-year-old has been an ever-present for the Clarets this season, playing 36 times as their stay in the Premier League lasted just one season.
Despite their immediate return to the Championship, former Manchester United stopper Heaton has been one of Burnley's most consistent performers this term.
It has been suggested that Newcastle first-choice goalkeeper Tim Krul could be on his way out of the club this summer, which would pave the way for a deal with Burnley to be struck.
According to The Sun, Newcastle will make a £2m bid for Heaton.
The report adds that Everton are also looking to offer him a return to the Premier League next season.
Heaton joined Burnley from Bristol City in May 2013.
