Newcastle United have reportedly made Northampton Town striker Ivan Toney a summer transfer target.
The 19-year-old made his senior debut for the Cobblers back in 2013 after graduating from the club's youth academy.
Toney scored 10 goals in 44 appearances for Northampton last season.
The youngster could now become Steve McClaren's first signing at St James' Park, according to Sky Sports News.
Toney was expected to join Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of 2014 before the deal collapsed due to a failed medical.
