Newcastle United are interested in signing Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke, according to a report.
The Magpies are in the market for a striker this month due to Callum Wilson's injury, with Eddie Howe hoping to find a replacement for the rest of the season.
So far this season the club have only managed to score 19 goals in the Premier League, with only Norwich City, Watford and Burnley having found the back of the net fewer times.
According to The Telegraph, one player that Newcastle are interested in signing is Solanke, who has Premier League experience with the Cherries and Liverpool.
Right now, the 24-year-old is Bournemouth's top goalscorer, which could make a deal hard to strike, with the forward having found the back of the net 18 times in 25 games this season in the Championship.
If Solanke was to sign with the Premier League outfit, it would reunite him with Howe, who he worked with at Bournemouth in the top flight. body check tags ::
