Burnley forward Andre Gray has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Newcastle United.
With Gray having just 12 months remaining on his existing contract, he has been linked with a transfer to a number of different Premier League sides.
Everton and West Ham United are said to hold an interest in the attacker, but according to the Shields Gazette, Newcastle are now considering a bid for the 26-year-old.
It has recently been claimed that Magpies boss Rafael Benitez is growing frustrated with the club's lack of movement in the transfer market, but he could be about to make an approach for the versatile Gray.
In his first campaign in the Premier League, he contributed nine goals and three assists in 32 appearances.
