Newcastle United are reportedly considering a bid for Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger.
The 21-year-old, who is out of contract in 2017, recently missed out on a place in Germany's World Cup squad.
The Magpies are now keen to bring the centre-back to St James' Park this summer as manager Alan Pardew looks to strengthen his squad, according to Sky Sports News.
Rudiger has been capped 10 times by Germany at Under-21 level.
