Newcastle United are reportedly preparing a £15m bid to try and sign Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly in the summer, which would reunite him with former boss Eddie Howe.

The Championship defender has been a regular in Scott Parker's team this season, featuring 31 times for the Cherries, scoring one goal in the league as the team pushes for promotion.

Bournemouth are currently second in the table as they attempt to get back to the top flight.

Despite that, according to The Express, Newcastle are lining up a £12m bid to sign Kelly in the summer transfer market.

The potential move could see him reunite with current Magpies boss Eddie Howe, who was the person responsible for signing him to Bournemouth back in 2019.
