Newcastle United have reportedly prepared to pounce for Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra in the January transfer window.
Now under the ownership of the Saudi Public Investment fund, the Magpies are said to be willing to make waves in the upcoming window, as the new hierarchy reportedly set their sights on quickly climbing the table.
According to Team Talk, the St. James' Park outfit have identified the Colombian as a prime target and will submit a bid of upwards of €20m (£16.8m) soon after the turn of the year.
Such a move is lined up to be one of the first incoming transfers of the new era in the north east, as they first aim to preserve their top-flight status, having failed to win any of their first nine Premier League games of the season.
Sinisterra, who arrived at Feyenoord in 2018, has made 81 appearances for the club, contributing 21 goals and 21 assists.
The 2021-22 term has been productive for the Colombian so far, with the 22-year-old netting nine goals and providing six assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
