Newcastle United have opted to reignite their interest in Besiktas midfielder Tolgay Arslan, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has impressed this season for the Turkish giants, which in turn has led to interest in the player from across Europe.
Arslan, a defensive midfielder with a high pass completion rate, played a crucial part in helping Besiktas reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Both Newcastle and Chelsea were linked with Arslan during the January window and, according to talkSPORT, the Magpies will continue to pursue the German in the summer.
Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be interested in Arslan.
