Newcastle United are interested in signing Sweden international Emil Krafth, according to a report.
The 24-year-old full-back is being considered by the Magpies' hierarchy as a player that could provide competition for DeAndre Yedlin for the right-back slot.
The Newcastle Chronicle understand that the St James' Park club had scouts watching Krafth in action for Amiens against Hull City on Wednesday night.
The right-back featured 35 times in Ligue 1 for Amiens last season, having signed for the French club from Bologna a year ago.
Newcastle scouts were also keeping tabs on Hull attacker Jarrod Bowen, who could be an alternative to Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximim.
Newcastle have already beaten their transfer record this summer, having signed Joelinton from Hoffenheim on Tuesday.
