Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has admitted that he is interested in signing strikers Remy and Darren Bent.
Remy is expected to leave Queens Park Rangers this summer following the club's relegation to the Championship, while Bent is out of favour at Aston Villa.
"Both of those players are on our list. I make no bones about that," Pardew told the Northern Echo.
"But they are under contract at other clubs. It's difficult, you have to be careful.
"It's nice for our fans to hear names, but I don't want to disrupt other clubs' preparations."
Pardew attempted to sign Remy in January, but the Frenchman joined QPR from Marseille.
