Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he is confident of signing Loic Remy on a permanent basis.
The French international joined the Magpies on a season-long loan deal from Queens Park Rangers during the summer.
Discussing the possibility of the striker being able to extend his stint at St James' Park, Pardew has insisted that the club has the necessary funds, although the final decision will be down to the 26-year-old.
"We feel we can sign him, we have the finance to do that but of course probably at the end of the year. Loic and his agent and his representatives will decide where his future is," Pardew told Absolute Radio.
Remy has found the net on 10 occasions this term.
