Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has insisted that the club will only sell one of their top players should they receive a bid that "blows the doors off".
Several of the club's players have been linked with a move away from St James' Park, but Pardew has revealed that the Magpies are in a strong financial position and do not need to sell any of their most prized assets.
The 51-year-old told The Chronicle: "I feel that we are in a strong position financially to hold on to our players.
"If one of our top players goes, it will be a bid that blows the doors off. That's it."
Midfielder Yohan Cabaye is the latest player to be targeted, with Paris Saint-Germain offering the former Lille player a return to France.
