Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is reportedly ready to move for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis or Borussia Monchengladbach forward Luuk de Jong during the January transfer window.
Pardew signed Queens Park Rangers frontman Loic Remy on loan during the summer, but he failed to bring a second attacker to St James' Park.
However, according to Chronicle Live, the 52-year-old is ready to return to his summer targets in a second attempt to bring them to England.
Newcastle have previously failed to agree personal terms with Gomis, while De Jong is reportedly unsettled in Germany.
