Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Ajax right-back Ricardo van Rhijn.
With Mathieu Debuchy seemingly heading for Arsenal, the Magpies are expected to be in the market for a new right-back this summer.
A number of defenders have been linked, but according to the Evening Chronicle, Van Rhijn has emerged as Alan Pardew's top target.
Van Rhijn, 23, who has seven caps for Netherlands, has been with Ajax since 2002.
