Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has insisted that he is happy to remain on Tyneside this summer.
The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international claims that his future is in the hands of the St James' Park hierarchy.
"I have a contract with Newcastle," he told reporters.
"Unless they want to do business with another club, I will be a Newcastle player.
"I do enjoy the Premier League and want to play there for many years, but you never know in football."
Tiote, whose current deal is due to expire in June 2017, made 24 top-flight appearances for the Magpies last season.
