West Ham United have reportedly decided to take full advantage of Newcastle United's relegation by making a bid for two of their players.
According to Squawka, the Hammers are particularly interested in winger Andros Townsend.
It is believed that upon his arrival on Tyneside from Tottenham Hotspur in January, the England international signed a deal that contained a demotion release clause worth £8m.
As well as Townsend, the report adds that West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is an admirer of Georginio Wijnaldum.
Despite it being a disappointing campaign collectively for the Magpies, the Dutch midfielder still managed to score 11 goals and contribute a further five assists.
Earlier today, West Ham announced the signing of Havard Nordtveit on a five-year deal.
