On-loan Everton forward Hallam Hope has marked his Northampton Town debut with a goal at Newport County, who go into half time level at 1-1 thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser from Harry Worley.
Hope, who signed for Northampton on a one-month loan earlier this week, fired his new side ahead on 29 minutes, before Worley's 47th-minute header came against the run of play.
Newport had kept two clean sheets in three games before today, but they have looked very vulnerable defensively this afternoon.
The hosts' crossbar was rattled on 12 minutes when Antonio German was afforded too much space and allowed to unleash a powerful left-foot strike from nine yards.
