Chester defender Danny Higginbotham has agreed to play international football for Gibraltar.
The British Overseas Territory will take part in Euro 2016 qualifying next year after being accepted as a full member of UEFA in May.
"I can confirm in principle that I have agreed to represent Gibraltar and am looking forward to the adventure," he confirmed on his own Twitter account.
Higginbotham was first approached by Gibraltar manager Allen Bulla, who is his uncle, and qualifies to play for UEFA's newest footballing nation as his mother is Spanish.
