Jurgen Klinsmann has revealed that he is "more likely" to take another job with a national team rather than stepping into club management once again.

Klinsmann was in charge of the United States national team between 2011 and 2016 before being sacked, while he has also managed Germany and Bayern Munich since retiring as a professional footballer in 2003.

The 53-year-old has been linked with a number of Premier League jobs over the last couple of years, but the former striker has played down suggestions that he could return to England.

"In football you never know what happens overnight. I never thought I'd coach Bayern Munich or Germany or the United States, so you have to always be open to any sorts of ideas," Klinsmann told Sky Sports News.

"But the fact is that living in the United States for 20 years having the family there, I have a daughter - she has two years more in high school. For us as a family as of today it's more likely that I take over another national team possibly after the World Cup than going into club management."

Klinsmann had two separate spells at Tottenham Hotspur during his playing career.
