Mauro Icardi's wife and agent Wanda Nara has ruled out the possibility of a move to the Premier League or Real Madrid this summer.
Icardi's future at Inter Milan has been plunged into uncertainty following a bitter fallout with the club, which saw him stripped of the captaincy before refusing to train with the team and missing almost a full month of action.
Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the Argentine, while Madrid are also understood to be monitoring his situation, but Wanda Nara is confident that he will remain in Italy.
"He's still scoring goals. He keeps moving forward because he is the strongest one in his family," she told Italian channel Canale 5.
"He's calmer now. He hugs all his teammates because he has always had a great relationship with everyone. We will surely stay in Italy next year."
Icardi has been linked with a move to Juventus in a sensational swap deal which would take Paulo Dybala in the opposite direction.
