Gus Poyet has been appointed as the new manager of Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
Earlier this month, Poyet was removed from his position as boss of Real Betis after just 11 games in charge of the La Liga outfit but he has already landed a new role.
The former Sunderland and Brighton & Hove Albion chief will now take charge of Shanghai Shenhua after the club decided against extending the contract of Gregorio Manzano.
Shanghai finished their most recent campaign in Asian football's most lucrative division in fourth place.
