A bookmaker has made League One the most likely destination for Roy Keane, should the former Sunderland and Ipswich Town boss return to management.

William Hill recently opened a market on the Irishman's future after he gave an interview to BBC Sport in which he stated his eagerness to get back into the game.

"If an opportunity comes up in the next few months, I will be ready for it. I am only 40. If chairmen and chief executives do their homework I'm sure I have a chance," said the former Manchester United captain.

Hill's have an English League One club to take a punt on Keane the favourite at 3/1, followed by a move to the Scottish Premier League at 10/3.

A job in the Championship is currently trading at 7/2, while a drop down to England's fourth tier in League Two is 9/2.

Keane has been out of work since being sacked by Ipswich in January of this year.
