Former Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City coach Paulo Sousa has been appointed as manager of Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Portuguese, who joins the club following a spell with Hungarian outfit Videoton, replaces Oscar Garcia at the helm, Reuters reports.
Sousa enjoyed an illustrious playing career that included stints at Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Parma, Panathinaikos and Espanyol, and earned 51 caps for Portugal.
Since breaking into management, he has coached the Portuguese Under-16 side and spent three years in England, taking charge of QPR, Swansea and Leicester City.
Maccabi Tel Aviv won their first domestic title for a decade last season.
