Nice coach Claude Puel has called on his players to show more dynamism following their 2-1 defeat at home to Guingamp in Ligue 1.
The visitors ended a four-match winless run to move up the league standings thanks to a Christophe Mandanne brace at the Stade Municipal on Friday, leaving Nice just five points clear of safety in 15th spot.
"There's a lot of disappointment and frustration among the players," said Puel, according to the official Ligue 1 website. "We needed to be more positive to trouble a Guingamp side that came to occupy space. There is no question of giving up, this is all part of the learning curve.
"We need to be more dynamic, put on more pressure, go forward more, more rhythm. We're struggling, the context isn't very favourable. It's often the case for teams that are struggling that you don't get the rub of the green.
"It's been too easy to score against us recently. We need more rigour and discipline."
Nice are back in league action next weekend when they face title-chasing Lyon in the Rhone-Alpes.
