Table-topping Bordeaux have come from a goal behind to beat Nice 3-1 away from home in Ligue 1 this evening, thanks to goals from Cheick Diabate, Nicolas Maurice-Belay and Gregory Sertic.
Julien Vercauteren had the game's first chance as he marauded forward for Nice and let a shot fly from distance, only to see it saved by a diving Cedric Carrasso.
Alexy Bosetti made Nice's early dominance count as he opened the scoring with a low effort from outside the box, having been fed by the impressive Vercauteren.
Eric Bautheac was at fault when he brought down Wahbi Khazri, allowing Diabate to slot an equaliser into the bottom corner with a cool penalty.
Bordeaux continued their revival after the break and they soon made it 2-1 when Diabate crossed for Maurice-Belay, who made no mistake in prodding home to make it 2-1.
The visitors secured the three points in the 58th minute when Diego Rolan broke away with pace before finding Sertic inside the box, and he fired into the bottom corner to wrap up a 3-1 win.
