Nice have beaten a 10-man Bastia side in Ligue 1 this evening, with the hosts cruising to a 2-0 victory at the Allianz Riveria.
The home team took the lead after only five minutes when Alexy Bosetti got hold of Timothee Kolodziejczak's through-ball to fire across goal and into the bottom corner.
Bastia saw their chances of grabbing an equaliser diminish just before half time, as Yannick Cahuzac was shown a second yellow for a poor challenge on Albert Rafetraniaina.
Nice almost made Bastia pay with the last kick before the interval, but Eric Bautheac saw his attempt saved by goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leca at the top left corner of the goal.
Leca's efforts were in vain, though, as Neal Maupay made the most of Valentin Eysseric's pass to tap home from close range and leave the final score at 2-0.
